Optimists Share Why Life Is About Learning How To Dance In The Rain
3 days ago · Optimism is defined as a mental attitude characterized by hope and confidence in success and a positive future. Optimists tend to view hardships as learning experiences or temporary. For example, optimists smoke less, are more physically active, consume more fruit, vegetables, and whole-grain bread, and are more moderate in alcohol consumption. The classical utilitarians are often thought of as optimists who regarded everything as malleable or plastic in the name of human progress. Optimism doesn’t mean engaging in wishful or fantastic thinking. It’s a way of looking at the world that gives more agency to the optimist as being at least partly responsible when life is. An optimist is someone who is hopeful about the future. Optimists reckon house prices will move up with inflation this year. Collins COBUILD Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. Copyright © HarperCollins.
